Immersed in greenery, the bay of Straccoligno is easily reachable from Capoliveri, one of the most characteristic towns on the Island of Elba.

The beach is sandy, the sea is shallow and covered by almost all winds coming from both the north, south and west: this makes it a suitable beach for children who fall in love with the sea of this welcoming location.

The uncontaminated nature of the bay is combined with a series of services, including a bar and restaurant, which make it comfortable from every point of view.

Interesting is the possibility of renting sunbeds, umbrellas, pedal boats and even small motor boats to visit the splendid coves and adjacent beaches.

On the right, in fact, you can enjoy the wonderful Calanova beach, which can also be reached on foot, characterized by the presence of "a spit of land" that juts out into the sea from which you can admire two splendid islets that border the bay of Straccoligno. On the left before entering the Gulf of Porto Azzurro you can appreciate the fortress of the Focardo lighthouse built by the Spanish in 1600.
